Event Management Teacher Jobs for the Ministry of Education UAE

The Ministry of Education is recruiting for Event Management Teachers join UAE public schools.

There are NO SKYPE interviews and so all Event Management teachers MUST sign up and be approved to attend an in-person interview.

Only Event Management teachers that are approved to attend will be provided full details.

Teachers in the Professional Stream will teach in our applied learning programme being delivered across the UAE focusing on developing the students specialised skills, by delivering the curriculum in an applied environment.

Promote a positive teaching and learning environment in Ministry of Education (MoE) schools across the Emirates.

Facilitate applied lessons in an engaging and progressive manner.

Ensure successful implementation of the new curriculum and assessment strategy.

Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of the new curriculum and assessment strategy.

Support a Professional Stream wide reform by participating in and organising professional development sessions such as : peer-observations, model lessons, professional development workshops and any other activities that promote effective teaching and learning.

Professional Stream Teachers work in teams, led by Professional Stream Lead Teachers, with each member contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning materials and support for students.

Professional Stream Teachers are responsible for the successful implementation of Professional Stream Curriculum across grades 9-12 and are required to do the following :

Deliver the curriculum according to 21st century teaching and learning principles.

Model and support an applied, learner-centered, hands-on classroom environment that promotes learner engagement and participation.

Ensure that students reach the expected age-related outcomes.

Create a positive, active, practical, applied learning environment.

Manage all facilities and activities related to achieve student learning.

Play a leadership role in modeling behaviour, attitudes, and learning behaviours for students.

Support the learning process by identifying needs and guiding students to achieve their learning objectives.

Ensure assessments are delivered according to the assessment strategy and guidelines, in a valid and rigorous manner.

Maintain an accurate record of student achievement and performance.

Create positive and effective relationships with colleagues.

Promote a positive teaching and learning environment in Ministry of Education (MoE) schools across the Emirates.

Facilitate applied lessons in an engaging and progressive manner.

Ensure successful implementation of the new curriculum and assessment strategy.

Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of the new curriculum and assessment strategy.

Essential Functions

Professional Stream Teachers are required to :

Work collaboratively within their school to develop a cohesive cross curricular focus.

Work in conjunction with similar subject specialists to enhance students learning and an applied focused environment.

Work extra hours to provide extra-curricular activities

Travel as required to events, training and provide cover away from their school

Be smart and present a positive image of themselves and the Professional Stream at all times

Professional Stream Teachers should be able to :

Integrate with colleagues from different cultures

Perform all aspects of their role with an understanding of the wider strategy

Plan effectively and manage their workload

Operate in arduous weather conditions (hot)

Gain the confidence and respect of Emirati personnel at all levels

Professional Stream Teachers should possess :

Maturity, intelligence, energy and a good sense of humour

Diplomacy and tact

Outstanding initiative and enthusiasm

Moral courage and integrity

Patience, resilience and flexibility

Salary Package

TAX FREE income of 16,000 - 21,000 AED per month!

FREE flights provided for teacher, spouse and 3 children aged up to 18 years of age (flight is incoming and on exit only)

FREE visa provided for teacher only

Gratuity bonus as per UAE labour law

Business Teacher Requirements

Candidates must meet at least one of the required criteria options below. Required :

Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience

Excellent written and verbal skills in English, for non-native speakers, a minimum of IELTs 7.0 Academic or 7.5 overall with no less than 6.5 in any skill

Masters degree

CELTA / DELTA

ESL teaching experience
