Cycle Scheduling activities are crucial to ensure that Nuclear Power Plant equipment performance and material condition that effectively support safe and reliable plant operations.
Cycle Schedulers assist the Cycle head and scope and schedule all activities in a timely and effective manner to ensure that Nuclear Power Plant equipment and systems function to meet design requirements and technical specifications.
Work Management Plant Organization
Develop Cycle work scopes in P6 for online work windows for the Plant Organization.
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data used in the planning and scheduling systems including : coding, calendars, WBS, task descriptions and cycle plans from SAP and P6.
Work with maintenance planners to achieve accurate cycle look-ahead planning and scheduling.
Work with system engineers, operations and work planning to develop accurate Scope. Create the initial logic and durations for schedules;
balance maintenance resources and then support multiple reviews of schedules to ensure safety is scoped into all created schedules
Ensure that all resources (spare parts, supplies, materials, information, procedures, tools, equipment, services and manpower) required for the work are or will be available to execute the planned work as scheduled;
Support the Cycle Head in all respects.
Work Control Interface
Create the cycle / scope documents and reports with the cycle head for publication to the Work Management Stakeholders in preparation of all meetings and deadlines
Communicate and follow up with applicable resources to continuously improve cycle and work week schedules by incorporating feedback from all stakeholders
Actively identify issues, recommend solutions and coordinate to resolve these issues
Utilize the Microsoft Suite of programs to organize, track, publish and report cycle reports that track all aspects of a work management program.
Ensure that all work carried out is of the highest standards of safety and quality and in compliance with the department and company-
side quality assurance program, in order to effectively support safe and reliable plant operation
Support continuous learning and application of industry best practices in order to maintain the highest quality of maintenance workmanship
Promptly report maintenance quality related issues and plant equipment deficiencies to line management
Reporting & Performance Indicators
Measurements of cycle plan and scoping performance will come from the quality and accuracy of the scope documents produced
Prepare and distribute routine work control reports, schedule reports and key performance indicators data entry.
HSE & Security
Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, by delivery of the HSE Management Program to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality service and a responsible environmental attitude.
Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on individuals and information assets.
Training and Qualifications
Successfully complete all required initial and continuous training courses and requirements in order to attain and maintain the required qualification and certification in areas of specialization
Strive to improve maintenance planning and scheduling level, understanding of overall plant operation, and impact on maintenance planning on safe and relia
4 years nuclear power plant experience with a minimum of 4 years scheduling on-line maintenance Engineering in Primavera P6 for a Nuclear Power Plant.
