Job Summary The role holder will beresponsible for managing respective retail outlets in their area soas to ensure maximum sales, maximum profitability, and effectivestock management to increase customer satisfaction and ensurecontinued business growth.
The job holder will also be responsiblefor maintaining the desired visual merchandising, retailoperations, customer service, replenishment, recovery standards inhis / her area in the store in all aspects.
Accountabilities CoreResponsibilities o Provides inputs for store strategies and ensureall plans are executed to result in maximized sales, profitabilityand commercial performance of all retail outlets in the assignedArea o Drives each store commercial KPI'
s (Conversion, UPT,AVB, Traffic) to maximize sales o Promotes awareness of localtrading patterns, the trading environment and competitor activity oMaximize productivity in stores through effective deployment ofresources;
controls costs within budgetary guidelines (overtime,stock and consumables) through efficient store operations o Ensurespromotions are implemented according to guidelines and thatlocal / seasonal promotional opportunities are identified andmaximized o Prepares reports on fast moving and best-selling stockitems in preparation for buying sessions o Ensures maintenance andregular review of store operational standards leading tostandardization of systems o Monitors inventory management systemswithin the area (stock availability, order management, back storemanagement, stock consolidation and transfer);
initiates timelyaction on slow moving and non-moving products o Ensures on timestock count and effective stock management (right product isavailable at the right time in all stores) o Monitors staffinglevels in stores within the area to ensures resources areeffectively deployed o Monitors store administration throughperiodic store visits and team meetings to maximize operationalefficiency within the area o Ensures all the stores are incompliance with all employment and state laws, health and safetystandards;
maintains proper loss prevention standards as per GMGpolicies o Ensures all the stores portray the Businesses image inall aspects of personal presentation and adheres to the companydress code as laid out by the policy o Maintains best retailstandards in all showrooms as per market positioning of the brand oFurnishes regular product feedback to the senior management and thebrand / category management department o Supervises the visualmerchandising function to ensure that they support the brand andintended theme o Trains, manages, develops and motivates staff toincrease sales and improve efficiency o Executes new storesopenings and re-fits to ensure timelines are met People Managemento Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member ofthe team and ensures effective implementation of the GMG'
sperformance management process o Develops talent within the team byproviding guidance, mentoring and coaching to achieve the definedgoals o Drives a culture of feedback and coaching in the BusinessUnit / Department by providing feedback on an ongoing basis,identifying development needs and coaching the employees on theareas of improvement
Educational Qualifications and Certificates o Bachelor'sdegree in any discipline Experience o A minimum of 5 - 7 years ofrelevant experience with at least 4 years in a similar supervisoryrole in retail operations Skills Language skills o Fluent English(written and spoken) o Hindi and / or Arabic skills in an addedadvantage Additional skills o Industry expertise o Product / categoryknowledge o Customer Orientation o MS Office and Tools o Numericaland Analytical skills
