Job Role : Crew Manager (Fire &Rescue Services) - Subject to Contract Award
The Job Opportunity
Responsible for the management and performanceof the crew in the provision of 24 / 7 Rescue & FirefightingServices (RFFS), including but not limited to : the provision ofARFF services to designated airfield to the specified InternationalCivil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Category, including aircrafts,provide SRFF services in response to incidents, including fire,building and facility emergencies, storms, gas leaks, burst watermains, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials andde-contamination tasks.
Assumes the role ofSRFF Incident Commander
Leads / Manages the crewof the assigned SRFF vehicle or equipment in the performance of allfirefighting, rescue or other required duties, both structuraland / or aviation.
Directs the positioning ofthe SRFF vehicle, the deployment of the crew and equipment andmanages tasks in response to emergency incidents.
Responsible for operation of the vehicles radiocommunications and for coordination with other emergency servicesvehicles.
Responsible for all communicationwith the control tower and fire control room for all necessaryclearances, instructions and SRFF incident information.
Supervises the SRFF vehicle replenishment of water andagent / media tanks.
Assists in the ongoing firetraining of RFFS as required.
Supervises thedaily operational serviceability, vehicle and equipmentchecks.
Reports vehicle and equipment statusincluding defects requiring attention to Watch Manager.
Manages daily station duties to maintain a clean and safeworking environment.
What We Are Looking For In OurCandidates
Five toTen (5-10) years’ experience in fire / rescue servicesincluding three (3) years in a supervisory position at an ICAOCategory six (6) airfield or above.
Additional fire / rescue workexperience may be substituted for up to two (2) years formaleducation in the ratio of two (2) years’ experience toone (1) years education.
Security clearance(Baseline, Secret, Top Secret) issued by the FVEY countries(Essential).
Certified MedicallyFit’ for the role.
Languages English Oral / Written (Essential), Arabic(Desirable).
Proficient in MicrosoftOffice
Valid heavy vehicle operator license incountry of origin and ability to obtain equivalent in the UnitedArab Emirates.
Education - Twelve (12) years formaleducation.
Specialized Qualifications Applicants shall be certified competent in role andqualified to a minimum of :

Nationals of the FVEY (Australia, New Zealand, UK, US,Canada) countries without the above, shall possess fire and rescuequalifications at least equal to the below :
