  • The Role

    Based within the banking or financial sector, a Relationship Manager’s role involves working with clients to help them make the right decisions with their accounts and explain the financial services on offer to them.

    You’ll also be expected to identify possible sales opportunities and generate new business for the company you work for.

    Far from being a self-absorbed money-orientated career, your role as a Relationship Manager is all based around your clients and their needs, so you’ll spend much of your day discussing their financial needs and keeping records.

    You will be responsible for :

  • Acquiring new customers and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Cross-selling the bank's products and services.
  • Performing day to day branch operations, including cash management, account opening and closure and remittance handling.
  • Providing sound financial advice according to customers' needs and objectives.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Providing inputs to streamline branch processes so as to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with audit and statutory guidelines.
  • Managing a team of 1-5 people.
  • Other daily duties will include :

  • Setting up meetings with new clients
  • Researching the latest products and regulations
  • Looking for new sales opportunities

  • Requirements :

  • You have at least 2 years experience ideally as a sales / relationship manager -retail banking within Corporate Banking.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
