EP - Product Specialist / Manager(Kuwait)
Works in hospitals to communicate the science messaging and tactics to strengthen BSC product use. Reference market intelligence and research to properly strategize with Distributor team to capture and broaden BSC's market share.
Be available for clinical use when necessary.
Key Responsibilities :
Addresses and assists doctor's / nurses / techs with clinical and technical activities.
Industry knowledge : Responsible for providing continuous tools and education to self and team members to ensure up to date industry, competitor and product knowledge;
Collects data from their region on competitor’s sales tactics and prepares the team to counter them and keeps the marketing organization aware;
Product / Market Management : Responsible for coordinating and executing training for local distributor sales force; Facilitate Physician to Physician training;
Helps the local distributor sales force with active field support; Actively participate in local distributor sales meetings;
Execute and participate in main customer events;
Selling Skills : Visit customers and / or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue targets, as agreed with Country Sales Manager;
Prepares quarterly regional sales forecast and participates in the determination of market potential and sales expense estimates;
Develops an in depth knowledge of the products and services provided by the division; Support customers in terms of correct use of Boston Scientific products;
Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions, as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services; Develops markets and businesses according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc.)
Sets up and delivers all product / program / clinical / technical training requirements for third party retailers in the markets.
Analyzes Distributor's needs and provides product / clinical / technical support accordingly.
Conducts competitive analysis and review of effectiveness of programs.
Collaborates cross functionally on the non-commercial aspects of competitive positioning (product features and benefits), market development (indications) and customer solution creation (clinical results).
Continuously looks for new ways to improve product and service offerings to reflect changing business needs and identify additional applications for existing products.
Provides advanced consulting regarding projects to address distributors on business issues, such as : workflow, management, product mix, promotion (indications), shipping, inventory management, etc.
Ensure BSC's Quality Policy and Guidelines are understood by the Distributor's field personnel.
Ensure that all of our business, sales and marketing activities with the Distributor are legally and ethically compliant, without compromising our code of conduct, and the principles stated in BSC Corporate Integrity Program.
Ensure the Distributor field personnel understand our Code of Conduct and Corporate Integrity Policy and have been trained accordingly.
Ensure that any and all potential code of conduct issues are immediately reported through the appropriate channels.
