Job Summary
Responsible for developing new product features and enhancing existing products to include the construction of appropriate policy language, required coverages, recognition of potential exposures, and necessary rating structure.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for design, implementation, and monitoring of assigned product features.
Develops short term and long term plans for assigned products and product features.
Directs development of product pricing and contract changes.
Manages the analysis and research performed in the development and its alignment with other lines.
Participates in development of national product initiatives.
Represents enterprise Product team on state, regional and national projects.
Takes leadership role in special projects as assigned by senior leader.
Stays abreast of industry developments.
Negotiates and sets priorities to align product goals with the enterprise Product goals.
Facilitates through other parts of the organization to accomplish results.
Responsible for providing requirements to IT for system changes.
Trains and develops product analysts.
Coordinates state and home office legislative and regulatory affairs providing input on key bills and regulation.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (e.g. others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
Ability to operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred in mathematical or statistical field.
Master's degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role.
Product development background required.
Insurance background (specifically in Home Owner's) required.
