Job Role : HR Officer, EmployeeRelations

To provide efficient employee supportwith excellent customer service across the full range of humanresources functions by establishing and maintaining effectiveworking relationship with employees, HR staff and line managers aswell as providing timely and accurate information anddocumentation.

Main Duties :

  • Act as main point of contact for general HR inquiriesfrom both internal and external customers ensuring timely andaccurate information and excellent customer service isprovided
  • Provide advice and counselling toline managers and employees regarding employee practices, policiesand Employment Laws
  • Liaise between employeesand management and provide advice in dealing with employeerelations' issues and maintain good relations
  • Communicate and explain policies and procedures in atimely and effective manner; Escalate more complex issues to theEmployee Relations and Services Supervisor.
  • Manage employee complaints and administer grievanceprocedures
  • Strive to ensure employeeunderstanding of Daman policies and procedures and employeebenefits by regularly communicating and counselling employees assituations arise
  • Generate periodical and AdhocHR related reports for HR management, as well as government andexternal regulators
  • Responsible for timelyacknowledgement of resignations employees' separations,ensure that the line manager involved parties is are aware of theprocess, handle any related queries
  • Continuously identify and analyse opportunities forimproving / streamlining current processes and systems for efficienttracking, reporting and analysis and enhancement of customerservice, ensuring collaboration with internal and externalstakeholders
  • Ensure timely preparation,quality control and submission of regular reports (i.e. ER KPI andManagement information reports) as well as adhoc reports requestedby Management
  • Plan, design and execute variousemployee engagement surveys and subsequently analyse the surveydata to make appropriate recommendations to address improvementareas
  • Support in conducting EmployeeOrientation for new joiners
  • Workcollaboratively with other HR teams to ensure that HR overall aimsand objectives are achieved
  • Support in thedevelopment, improvement, implementation and adherence of HRpolicies and procedures relating to the Employee Relations andService Delivery
  • Ensure compliance with allstate and federal regulations discrimination and employmentregulations.
  • Support the on-boarding andoff-boarding processes
  • Skills

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in similarrole or;
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience inthe areas of customer service and conflict resolution withpreferably at least 1 year of experience in any HRfunction
  • Diploma in any field; Bachelor degreepreferred
  • Good command of written and spokenEnglish; knowledge of Arabic language is a must
  • Good analytical, execution, problem solving and decisionmaking skills
  • Good conflict management andmotivational skills
  • Ability to acquire andapply new skills
  • Flexible and able to workunder pressure
  • Respect and maintain a highlevel confidentiality
  • Proactive and resultsoriented whilst ensuring high quality of work
  • Advance level of customer service orientation andprofessionalism in all interactions
  • Able towork in a multi-cultural environment and promote teamwork andknowledge sharing in order to achieve goals anddeliverables
  • Good knowledge of healthinsurance concepts
  • Good knowledge of Microsoftapplications
