Job Role : MD, Head of Treasury AdvisoryServices
Provide strategic advisory & consulting servicesto CIB Clients on the set-up of Regional Treasury Centres, In-HouseBanks, Shared Service Centres, Re-Invoicing Centres, PaymentFactories and In-house cash entities.
Consult,evaluate and engage with IBG and MNC clients on areas acrossliquidity and FX centralisation, Treasury and In-house cashset-ups, debt and capital markets / Investment management policies,cash forecasting models etc.
while leveraging existing and newdigital tools and technologies.
Should be ableto structure and implement solutions around centralisation oftreasury management activities, recommend suitable treasury modelsand work with stakeholders to re-engineer treasury and financeoperations
In the development &delivery of treasury management solutions, the individual should beable to effectively manage credit / market / operational / reputational risk to create a strong risk culture.
Implement robustsecurity and control framework and create efficiencies, reducecosts for FAB and our Clients.
Participate inConsultative selling and requirement analysis with large CIBclients, understand their technology journey, prepare, respond andevaluate RFPs for complex TMS capabilities while drawing subjectmatter expertise across Trade Finance, FX, ERP systems.
Work closely with TMS Providers and Fintechs to designand build innovative treasury management solutions using their ownstrong knowledge of the market and landscape globally
Supervise and / or perform all tasks necessary to supportall products and services within the Treasury Management productportfolio, including assisting with the development of new productsand services as needed
Manage existing / newsolutions in line with the Product Life Cycle (PLC) from BusinessCases to the actual delivery and commercialization.
This includesengagement and management of external Vendors, preparation ofrequirement documents UAT and signoff of the same.
Engage with proprietary digital channels, SWIFT and Cloudbased platforms to determine possible ways of rationalising clienttouch points related to treasury management solutions in line withthe competition / market / client expectations
Responsible for managing alliances to support and enhancethe treasury and underlying product propositions. This will involveagreeing and monitoring service levels, and play a role inidentifying white-labelling opportunities for FAB and position thebank as a lead player in the region
Provideguidance and support to Solutions & Advisory teams forpromoting the relevant products
Represent andsupport the bank in driving Treasury Consultancy proposition inalignment with the bank's overall strategy andgoals
Represent the bank in various forumslike Regulatory bodies, business chambers of commerce in gettingvaluable insights & implementing the same withinFAB
To perform other activities as appropriateassigned from time to time by Head of Cash ProductManagement
Focusprimarily on CIB Clients and provide assistance in developingconsistent Treasury management and administrativepolicies
Thorough understanding of the clientbusiness model across key segments along with the challenges andopportunities. Ability to leverage technology and connectivityoptions to deliver on Target Treasury Management eco-system for FABclients
Possess detailed knowledge andExperience of TMS solutions, ERP, Treasury, Banking, FX, and Swift,including Cloud (SaaS) solutions so as to able to provide insightson market capabilities
Experience in managinglarge projects involving diverse stakeholders across client, bankand alliance partners including activities for streamlinedimplementation of agreed solutions and target operating model
15-20 years of relevant experience inindividually driving Treasury Centralization projects for largecorporates
Thorough knowledge and experiencein developing and driving Cash / FX / Liquidity products relevant toTreasury optimization within the local and global businesslandscape
ACT or equivalent certification inInternational cash management is preferable
Experience in designing complex FX structures withininternational cash management solutions
Knowledge of SAP and TMS systems is essential
Extensive knowledge of SWIFT and other electronicchannels from payments perspective is essential
Knowledge about the major currency clearing mechanismsaround payments is needed
A confident self-starter, motivated, withaptitude and willingness to undertake self-learning
Must demonstrate a keen interest to learn the businessand its processes, in order to best support our clients; fluent inArabic and English
Must demonstrate theability to analyze and understand complex problems, make sound(technical) decisions, provide recommendations, and communicatesolutions in a proactive manner
Must haveexcellent verbal and written communication skills and be able toarticulate concepts effectively to Business users, operationalteams and technologists at all levels of seniority within theclient and the bank
Ability to have aconsultative approach with IT and business partners within both thebank and the client
