What will I be doing?
As Cluster ReservationsManager, you are responsible for achieving occupancy targets / levelsas identified in the annual budget and marketing plan forReservations.
The Reservations Manager will work with the Sales andEvents Teams to develop future and repeat business opportunities.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the followingtasks to the highest standards :
Maximise occupancy levels by reviewing and revisingrevenue strategies
Workwith the Sales and Events Teams to maximise corporate and grouprates
Manage third partysites and agents to establish rates, negotiate prices, ensureproper implementation of reservations procedures, and maximiseconversion ratios in order to achieve targets for thedepartment
Contribute tothe selling strategy of the hotel, and manage thedepartments' adherence to achieving that strategy
Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead inthe local market
EnsureTeam Members are developed effectively and generate a culture ofhigh quality standards for relationship building, customer service,selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts
Build strong relationships withcustomers, Guests and Team Members in order to gain fullunderstanding of their needs and work to serve themeffectively
Assist in therecruiting, managing, training and developing of the Team
Participate in the organisation ofhotel promotional activities
