A Cluster Reservations Manager is responsiblefor achieving occupancy targets / levels as identified in the annualbudget and marketing plan for Reservations.

What will I be doing?

As Cluster ReservationsManager, you are responsible for achieving occupancy targets / levelsas identified in the annual budget and marketing plan forReservations.

The Reservations Manager will work with the Sales andEvents Teams to develop future and repeat business opportunities.Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the followingtasks to the highest standards :

Maximise occupancy levels by reviewing and revisingrevenue strategies

Workwith the Sales and Events Teams to maximise corporate and grouprates

Manage third partysites and agents to establish rates, negotiate prices, ensureproper implementation of reservations procedures, and maximiseconversion ratios in order to achieve targets for thedepartment

Contribute tothe selling strategy of the hotel, and manage thedepartments' adherence to achieving that strategy

Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead inthe local market

EnsureTeam Members are developed effectively and generate a culture ofhigh quality standards for relationship building, customer service,selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts

Build strong relationships withcustomers, Guests and Team Members in order to gain fullunderstanding of their needs and work to serve themeffectively

Assist in therecruiting, managing, training and developing of the Team

Participate in the organisation ofhotel promotional activities

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain theattitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow :

Previous experience with reservations in the hotel / leisuresector

Strong leadershipskills to effectively manage and motivate a high-performing teampositioned to exceed targets

Strong analytical skills to understand key businessindicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to thesechallenges

Excellentselling capabilities and the ability and desire to coach sellingtechniques to Team Members

Excellent organisation and planning skills

Accountable and resilient

Flexibility to respond to a rangeof different work situations

It would be advantageous in this position for you todemonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions :

Knowledge of the hotel propertymanagement systems

Previous experience in the same or similar role

Relevant degree, in a businessdiscipline, from an academic institution
