Mainduties * Check and sort out quality of rawmaterials received.

  • Prepare mis-en-place to adequate meet workexigencies.
  • Prepare food as per production plans stipulatedmaintaining timeliness, quality and consistency.
  • Serve properportions in the correct serving dishes using proper garnishes andaccompaniments to enhance presentation.
  • Control wastage by properplanning and utilization.
  • Handle all equipments correctly andensure they are kept clean.
  • Ensure sanitation and hygiene in thework area.
  • Ensure left-over food is properly stored
  • Observerigidly food adulteration and health as applicable.
  • Limit ofAuthority; Can reject raw materials, Can refuse supply of food toRestaurant service staff if KOT / checks are not produced.
  • Coordinates with store - for supply of perishable and dry fooditems.
