Finance- Investor Relations
Unit Purpose :
Investor Relations is responsible for managing communication with the investor and analyst community and rating agencies and acting as an internal advisor on market-related matters.
Job Purpose :
Play key role in preparing Results and Investor presentations.
Assist with preparation of press quarterly press release.
Manage the analytical capability of Investor Relations through competitor analysis, share price performance and regular reporting.
Maintain database of broker research and distill and disseminate to management on a regular basis.
Conduct other ad-hoc financial analysis when required. Prepare Internal Presentations, Segmental Peer Analysis, information requests from other departments, etc.
Play a key role in the Quarterly Results process by preparing briefing materials. Join meetings with Group CFO, Group Financial Controller and Head of IR, to identify key messages and themes to be included in results presentation and press release.
Assist with preparation of press releases and presentations for results and other company announcements.
Maintain spreadsheet of analyst consensus. Review draft analyst research and models.
Attend investor and analyst meetings and record questions asked.
Assist in managing rating agency relationship and supply rating agencies with data templates ahead of their annual review meetings. Respond to ad hoc requests.
Job Specifications :
B.Sc. in Accounting / Finance / Economics.
Working towards a professional qualification
Previous experience (minimum 3 years) in Banking / Financial Services (preferably in Finance, Research functions
Strong Analytical Skills and fully conversant with financial analysis tools.
Intermediate knowledge of Bloomberg financial platform.
Strong financial literacy and attention to detail.
Commercial acumen, an enquiring mind and an understanding of the market and financial dynamics.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly to business and finance colleagues internally and to analysts and investors externally.
Capability to work under own initiative and under pressure, to deliver high quality work to a tight deadline.
