QHSE) SAFETY OFFICERWe are looking for QHSE SAFETY OFFICER having minimum 2 years of experience with having Knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 14001 : 2015 and ISO 45001 : 2018 and Dubai Municipality EHS Local Regulation.
General Responsibilities (but not limited to) : 1- Report directly to the Top Management.
Perform regular duties of Safety Officer (Proactive and Reactive Monitoring). 2- Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary and issue work permits as required.
3- Enforce and maintain QHSE Policy, QHSE Logs, documentation & conduct Tool Box Talks. 4- Conduct Risk Assessment and prepare Safe Work Method Statement for off-site activities.
5- Ensure QHSE Department is in full compliance with IMS (Integrated Management System). 6- Liaison with the Local Authorities and clients - related to HSE.
7- Implement and Supervise the QHSE Annual Training program 8- Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
9- Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations. 10- Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.
11- Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
12- Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training. 13- Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
14- Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.
15- Perform other work related tasks as required as assigned. Minimum Qualification : 16- Graduate of 4 years degree in College Preferred Associate Degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences is the basic requirement of educational qualification of this position.
17- NEBOSH IGC holder or HSE Engineering 18- With at least 2 years work experience as QHSE Officer in UAE or other country.
19- Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 14001 : 2015 and OHSAS 18001 : 2007 and Dubai Municipality EHS Local Regulation.
20- Knowledgeable in COSHH. 21- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 22- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
23- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. 24- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
