A Guest Service Agent provides receptionservices for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptionalexperience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, asrequired.
What will I be doing?
As Guest Service Agent,you will serve on the Front Office Team, to provide services forGuests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience fromcheck-in through check-out and complete audits, as required.
AGuest Service Agent truly influences the first impressions of ourGuests and, therefore, are responsible for performing the followingtasks to the highest standards :
Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timelyand efficient manner
Ensure an efficientreception experience for Guests, including check in / out, andcomplete audit procedures, as required
Ensurethat the Guest Service Manager is kept fully aware of any relevantfeedback from guests and, or, other departments
Demonstrate a high level of customer service at alltimes
Attend appropriate training courses,when required, and assist with the Night Team's trainingand development efforts
Demonstrate aknowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages,promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to performdaily duties
Maximize room occupancy and useup-selling techniques to promote hotel services andfacilities
Use the correct proceduresregarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards andcash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and allhealth and safety legislation
Act inaccordance with policies and procedures when working with front ofhouse equipment and property management systems
Follow company brand standards
Assist other departments, as necessary
