Job Role : Officer - Insurance(UAE National)

KeyAccountabilities :

  • Will beresponsible for all insurance activities of the company includingLiability, Assets and personal.
  • Responsiblefor the timely declaration to ADNOC under Blanketpolicy.
  • Declaration of Estimated &Actual Declarations subject to Company Assets. Administer thepolicy and its upkeep.
  • Declare Estimate / ActualNumber of employees' and their basic salaries to ADNOC GRMDin the form of insurance returns to effect the Insurance returns toeffect the Insurance Coverage of life, Accident, Illnessschemes·
  • To formally record detailsof asset addition and declaration from company asset register forthe expiring year under Property All Risk Policy. AADR
  • Declares Estimated / Actual values of company assets forthe forthcoming year with details of Plant Property &Equipment'
  • s, Stocks, residential / offices, Pipelines,Allowances, Vessel Impact and Business Interruption etc. to parentcompany.

  • Declaration of Estimated / Actualmaximum amount of cash kept in safe, cash carrying in any onetransit and total cash carrying during the year to parent companyin the form of insurance returns to ensure compliance to corporatepolicies and procedures and to affect the Insurance Coverage underGroup Theft & Dishonesty policy.
  • Declares underwriting information for the forthcomingrenewal year to parent company in advance of and in preparation forthe annual renewal / tender process.
  • Declaresthe list of company owned vehicles / Heavy equipment's andsubsequent additions / deletions to the insurers to adjust premiumunder the Group Motor Policy.
  • Motor Fleet & Heavy EquipmentPolicy

  • Declares the Annual underwritinginformation of company profile (estimated annual turnover, numberof employee's Location, General Description of operation / Facilities, Adjacent facilities, Area of operation, Distance,products Information, Details of owned / leased vessels, VehiclesBerthing facilities etc.
  • to parent company under the GroupLiability policies.

  • Ensure project insuranceare being provided with adequate cover for projects up to 175MUSDprior to commencement of construction.
  • Ensureprojects worth more than 175 MUSD, insurance are being madeavailable through parent company and maintain all through theconstruction period and keep track of its expiry.
  • commencement ofconstruction.

  • Declares underwritinginformation all company owed Boats / Yacht ADNOC GRMD for theforthcoming renewal year in advance of and in preparation forannual renewal. SMALL BOAT
  • Declares estimatedvalues of cargo (shipped by Land, Air and Sea) from anywhere in theword to final Destination in UAE and from UAE to anywhere in thework till final destination to parent company and track for premiumpayments and adjustments.
  • Claims Handling :

  • Thorough knowledge of various claims inpetrochemical Industry and its administering. Adherence to promptfollow up of claims and its settlement.
  • ContractualSupport :

  • Maintaingood negotiation skills m maintain good inter personal skills,interface with various Insurance companies and with parent company.
  • Should be a good team player.

    Qualifications & Experience : As a successfulcandidate, you should have :

  • BachelorDegree in Accounts / Finance or equivalent professionalqualification
  • 5 years of relevant workexperience including at least 3 years Hands-on-Skills in Insurancerelated activities in an Oil & Gas / Petrochemicalindustry.
  • Good knowledge and understanding ofinsurance principles, procedures and systems
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Data analysis and report writing skills
  • Problem solving and decision making abilities whencritical situation arise.
  • Proficient in use ofstandard office software including SAP
