Analyze and process credit proposals and applications ofMashreqBank’s retail Lending Products for approval or escalation to CreditSupervisors within the stipulated TAT.
To ensure smooth implementation of the front end automationof credit process solution across all lending products with significant gainsin customer experience and productivity.
Regulating all approvals within the Credit Policy andProduct parameters.
Ensuring consistent application of credit policy, quality ofunderwriting decisions and of documents held as collateral.
Responsible for the supervisory credit review function asand when required for RBG Products and Osool through implementation of standardoperating procedures and policies as per Product Program Guidelines.
Responsible as a reliable back up in the absence of teamleader / Asst Manager.
Responsible in the development of the new staff into theteam and also periodically assist in the training of the new staff in the team
Analyzingfor approval or escalation to higher authority : eligibility as per policy,bank statement, past data check on Banksys’, Badrsys , Osoolsys’, Dohasys’(for Doha Cases), Select, review through application system Vectus’ (forVectus cases and supplementary document attached with the facility proposal orapplication.
Measuring,evaluate and providing suggestion to improve the team’s productivity. This will be done by maintaining keyperformance indicators and daily productivity MIS.
To undertakevarious assigned projects to increase the unit productivity and to enhanceproduct and credit policy for retail lending products.
Exceptionidentification for eligibility, pricing, CPV, information capture on the systemand collateral compliance.
Communicatingmajor deficiencies and policy violations to Team Leader / Asst Manager forfollow-up.
Categorizingcases as Declined’, Rejected’, or for Deviation Approval’ if above checksfail.
To ensuredaily productivity targets are met.
To ensurequality service to internal / external customers by adhering to the committedturnaround time.
To beactively involved in the process of training and testing implemented by thequality unit.
To help inthe on job training of the new staff in the team
To be a keyteam player and should at all times keep the motivation levels up within theteam

Identifyinganomalies in Credit Policy and Product Manual.
Recommendingadditions and modifications to Credit Policy and Product Manual.
Recommendingimprovements in operational procedures and risk areas from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Graduatewith 3-4 years work experience in Credit Management environment.
Ability toproblem solving and work independently.
Should becustomer focused and achievement oriented.
