Understanding of the retail business

Maximise Sales andProfit Opportunities by potentialising Trading of All Stores acrossRegions / Territories

Maximise Sales and ProfitDensities

Work with Space Planning to ensure OptionCounts are aligned to Store Dept Contributions and Strategy

Analyse and Track GMROI (Gross Margin Return on InventoryInvestment) at a Class and Dept Level to maximise opportunities andminimise Inventory Risks

Plan KPI'S by Locationin Oracle Location Planning Tool

Manage the StoreGrading / Clustering Process

Manage the Store ProfilingProcess to ensure Local Assortment Opportunities are captured andthat Stock Packages are tailored for Local Store Requirements

Work closely with Demand Planning Team to ensure that theCentral Product Strategy is fully implemented at a LocationLevel

Manage the Location Sales Re-Forecasting Processto ensure all Locations and Classes have accurate and up to dateforecasts influenced by a strong level of COMMERCIAL THINKING

Present weekly overview of Territory / Store Performance at aDept / Class Level, identifying opportunities and proposingcorrective action as required and feeding back to the DemandPlanning Team, Buying Team and Territories

CompleteQuarterly Post-Seasonal Analysis and Present Key Take-outs to allStakeholders

Plan New Store Openings, Store Closures,Store Refurbishments and Space Change Process to tailor Assortmentsto Local Trading conditions and deliver on-time launches

Liaise with Demand Planning Team, Buying, Retail Operations,Finance and Visual Merchandising with respect to New StoreOpenings, Store Closures, Store Refurbishments and SpaceChanges

Align with the Operations Team to ensure theStore Option Counts and New Opening Packages are accurate

Understand the Concept Critical Path and ensure all LocationPlanning Deadlines are achieved

Co-ordinatingDepartmental Allocations and Replenishment

SupportDemand Planning Team in Optimising Flow of product through theDistribution Channels

Ensure Stock Distribution isaligned to Trading Opportunities including co-ordinating TerminalStock Movement

Territory and Local Store Visits toremain abreast of Product Performance, Trends and shift in CUSTOMERBehaviour

Manage effective communication with DemandPlanning Team, Buying Team, Finance and Visual Merchandising

Ensure effective communication in place with Area Managers / Stores and maintain this Key Link with Head Office

Attending Area Meetings and Range Reviews and providing feedback asrequired
