Sales Manager, based in Dubai, is responsible for Hach direct & indirect business primarily for Maghreb region : Morocco / Algeria / Tunisia.

The Sales Manager job is to manage Hach portfolio with the existing channel partners in assigned territory. Geography will be changed as per company requirement.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales objectives set by Regional Sales Manager
  • Manage territorial distribution channels by participating in establishing annual goals; directing and training distributors
  • Assist distribution partners by providing written marketing and sales material to accomplish mutual business objectives
  • Serve as a technical application specialist, providing product expertise in Hach products to distributors and customers
  • Ensure high product training level of distribution partner associates for new and existing products
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers by making visits, exploring specific needs, resolving problems
  • Participate in establishing MENA pricing strategies for Hach products
  • Collect and report information on competitive activity, business opportunities, sales trends and results within the assigned territory
  • Develop relationships with the Hach support structures to best serve the activity
  • Participates in territorial technical conferences
  • Define market verticals for each existing channel partner
  • Conduct field trips to direct end-users, and report accordingly
  • Responsible for implementing regional strategies
  • Preparing action plan to drive sales activities
  • Update sales visits, calls and their related activity on SFDC
  • Relationships

    The Sales Manager reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

  • Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Environment Sciences, Automation, Process control or equivalent experience. Alternate science degrees will be considered
  • Two to five years’ experience in process control, liquid analytics or automation
  • Industrial sales experience (two to five years) in similar products and services preferred
  • Working knowledge with standard It programs (Microsoft Office, CRM)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively
  • Fluent in English, French and Arabic
  • Required skills

  • Must be a self-starter
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to handle concurrent projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers
  • Proven track record in outstanding sales performance
