Job description

The Account Delivery Leader (ADL) is accountable for the delivery of all services within an account / sector / country to Client contractual, cost, schedule and quality targets.

The ADL works with the account / sector and their management team to deliver high quality services, with high client satisfaction at the targeted cost levels.

His / her mission is to evolve the delivery model to be ahead of competition in terms of quality and cost and as such enable Growth for the business.

Expectations :

The expectations of the ADL role are defined through the lens of various key stakeholder interests. It is the role of the individual ADL to identify and pro-

actively manage any tensions between these expectations and to balance those interests according to the specific circumstances of the Account.

  • Work with other DXC Business Units to present a One DXC’ approach to the Client
  • Support the AE’s growth agenda
  • Align solutioning / engineering to Account technology strategy and architectural policies

  • Ensure affective alignment of project and operational engineering client and DXC technology roadmaps
  • Own solution integration where required, taking care to future-proof’ where possible through engagement with ACT and Practices
  • Understand Practice Roadmaps and Play-to-Win Strategies

  • Align resource, location and capability plans within Delivery Functions
  • Identify opportunities to offer pre-integrated solutions to client
  • Delivery Functions Expectations

    Maintain a DXC way focus to drive client satisfaction

  • Ensure the team is well prepared and acting as a cohesive unit, maintaining a positive company image in front of the client
  • Be able to influence behaviour of others with or without direct authority to drive operational excellence and achieve customer satisfaction
  • Act as the highest point of accountability

  • For all delivery outcomes, issues and costs
  • Pro-active oversight of end-to-end service delivery through effective measurement and governance
  • Execute a client engagement strategy

  • Pursue client relationship at director or highest appropriate level
  • Minimise surprises’ through ongoing communication and informal touch points
  • Understand client issues, plans, expectations and perceptions to drive customer satisfaction and growth
  • Manage to the Account Financial Plan

  • Fiscally responsible
  • Delivering to the Service Level Agreement (SLA), thus avoiding penalties
  • Profile

    Qualifications or Qualifying Experience :

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in leading Infrastructure and / or Application Business, BPS P&L, SLA, YOY cost management
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in managing multi-Line of Business, multi-country / geo, multi discipline account delivery and pursuit environment
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in large deals negotiation, contracting and delivery processes.
  • Experience in understanding and resolving commercial and client satisfaction issues
  • Experience in executive-level writing, negotiations, and presentations.
  • At least 10 years’ IT experience in management within a large-scale technology environment
  • Tertiary qualification preferable
  • Language Proficiency - Bilingual (Arabic-English) as mandatory for this role
