They are looking for a NationalSales Manager to head a large sales and distribution network acrossthe country. Both areas of operational excellence and strategicbrilliance are necessary for this role as you would sit on theleadership team and would be accountable for the major chunk of thebusiness volumes.
Areas that you need to have an enviable trackrecord are direct distribution, effective management of a large vansales operation, Modern and Traditional trade, managing tradecontracts with some of the larger players, sales forecasting andplanning.
Since the business is on an aggressive growth mode youneed to come armed with the relevant experience to hit the groundrunning.
You would be required to devise and implement strategiesto enhance sales and distribution, aggressively build thecapabilities within the present team.
SkillsMustHave : years of holistic and qualitative sales experiencein the FMCG industry, Operational experience is a must but so isthe ability to set the direction / re look at current process / challenge status quo.
ability to set strategy is critical for therole. the functional competencies you would have acquired in yourstints as a Modern Trade / traditional trade expert, trademarketing expert, category management and sales capability.
