Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Accountable for developingand managing cross-organisational relationships within QR to gainbuy-in to supply decisions and trade-offs driving decision makingin time-critical processes.
Accountable forreviewing and developing the logistics strategy to ensure thatitems are not carried around the world unnecessarily;
creating aneffective, cost efficient solution that assists with fuelconservation.
Accountable for the planningand introduction of new stock items, including the timelywithdrawal and disposal of obsolete stock.
Accountable for the measurement and reduction of stock losses andbreakages, ensuring that systems are in place to measure this,usage rates are produced and specifications for withdrawal areproduced and available with suppliers.
Accountable for compliance with corporate inventory accuracy andreporting requirements and for developing and enacting strategiesto improve robustness in this area.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
High level PC literacy and expertlevel MS Excel skills required
High levelwritten and verbal communication skills and presentationskills
Managerial skills Abilityto delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strongmentoring and coaching skills.
Ability totrain and develop subordinate’s skills. Ability to fosterteamwork among team members.
