Job Description

Agents will need to answer incoming calls from clients / members and must be able to listen carefully and attentively to the conversation and be able to translate this to the native language of the requester.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Skills required :
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Should be a good listener.
  • Ability to work in an constantly changing and fast paced environment
  • Must be able to multi-task between multiple computer programs and websites
  • Able to work independently
  • Must be willing to work in a shifts environment.
  • Candidate skills :
  • Must be patient and a good listener.
  • Should be able to translate very well.
  • Candidates with medical, insurance and law backgrounds are highly preferred due to translation terminology knowledge.
  • Be proficient in computer operation and website navigation
  • Must be able to multi-task between multiple computer programs and websites
  • Candidates will need to be able to translate between the below languages proficiently while on the call :
  • Somali to English and vice versa
