Our client a leading lighting company is seeking to hire IT Support Engineer to be based in Dubai.
Troubleshoot desktop, telecom, & computer equipment and printing support (diagnosing hardware & software failures)
Setting up accounts for new users as SAP System Administer and Access rights management to avoid conflict of roles.
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners, IT hardware, application software.
Experience in windows 10 including installation,configuration and troubleshooting.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems, VPN, Firewall issues.
Makes initial diagnosis of any problems and advises on known solutions, where applicable providing information on updates, known errors, changes in drivers, resolving issues.
LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi maintenance and troubleshooting.
Skill set required
Total experience of 2 to 5 Years as a high-level Desktop Support technician.
Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience, certifications
Fluent verbal and written client communications skills required
High-level knowledge of Windows10, Daily troubleshooting issues for laptop and peripherals.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills required
Significant knowledge in Microsoft (MS) Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Exchange / Outlook and other MS products.
Experience with LAN / WAN TCP / IP networks, and VPN.
