The role of the Product Manager is operate as custodian of business product roadmap across the IT Platform and services.
Owning, managing and validating all changes to ensure alignment to strategic objectives and Business justification for investment.
This role has responsible for defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet customer needs over the product-market lifecycle.
You will collaborate with a wide range of people to identify and define customer needs, understand the Solution Context, and develop the Program Vision, Roadmap, and Features required to meet these needs.
Your role will be an important ally to every organization who wants to invest in change and improvement on the Yas Connect Platform
Vision and roadmap responsible for defining the vision that reflects customer and Business needs on the platform. Ensuring alignment with strategic themes of the organisation and long-term direction
Program backlog management content authority for the program backlog and features defined including benefit hypothesis and acceptance criteria
Responsible for the planning and management of Program Increment planning activity on the platform definition of objectives, presentation of vision and prioritisation of features for implementation
Validation of features alongside product owners reviewing output against KPIs and objectives
Develop and manage an operating model that serves and protects the interests of Farah, Tenants and vendors
Management and collaboration with key stakeholders Business owners, Product owners, Release Train engineers, System architects for the cohesive and successful delivery of change across the Platform & services
Implement a cross charging model for all the Tenants on the platform
Operate as the custodian of the roadmap and scope manage the Change Request process from initiation to CBA / decision making
Undertake projects management responsibilities on behalf of the current venues when it lacks resources or motive to perform them in-house
Chair and manage working groups within the platform governance structure i.e. Review Working Group
Prepare and execute the on-boarding of new tenants
Administrate, prepare and present reporting in accordance with audit requirements
Ensure the full alignment with the Budget
Coach and advise Business stakeholder and vendors on best practice
Establish, manage and continuously improve Platform processes, procedures and artefacts
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering; preferably Masters degrees in the same, or the equivalent in experience
Project Management certified and / or equivalent certificate- AGILE, SAFE
Certification in one or more Business Analysis or Change Management industry approaches is desirable
Strong knowledge of digital transformation evidence in work experience or certification is an added advantage
8-10years’ experience in Consulting, Business Analysis and Change Management in IT / Digital domain
5+ years Senior Stakeholder Management experience up to C-Suite
Advanced experience in requirements, illustrations and documentations.
Proven record of creating analyzing and validating detailed functional and non-functional specifications
Experience with various projects life cycle (waterfall, agile, etc.)
Familiar with various technologies and software applications
Familiar with system design, including data migration rules, business rules,
Ability to facilitate the negotiations of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
Excellent presentation skills holding the ability to relay to non-technical people
5+ years’ experience of Governance framework design and implementation across IT, Financial or Public Sectors capacity of PM, Senior Business Analyst or more
3+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
Business Analysis skills including ability to use basic analyst tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, workflow diagrams tools etc.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills written & verbal
Self-starter, with a keen interest in customer loyalty and highly motivated towards success;
Must be proactive, a confident communicator able to win trust and be a credible stakeholder advisor;
Fluent user of Jira to report and track issues to update all stakeholders
Able to work independently.
Demonstrated ability to resolve business and technological issues
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing for highly technical concepts and processes to the common person
Demonstrated ability to train and provide consultation to customers in clear and concise manners
Experience in Business Consulting, Programme Management IT infrastructure is advantageous
Understanding and management of IT / technology architectures and working knowledge of PRINCE2 or PMP project management is an added advantage
