About the Role
You are responsible for optimizing sales, profitabilityand development of the Home Furnishing Business (HFB) to strengthenIKEA’s position as the Top of theMind home furnishing store in the local market.
Yourresponsibility includes leading showroom co workers, providingsupport and developing them in order to create a strong and vitaldaily commercial drive in the showroom while ensuring the presenceof the proven IKEA retail system (Tasks of the IKEAstore).
Key SpecificAccountabilities :
Together with the Logistics department, youensure that sales forecasts of all products in your HFB are adaptedto the sales pattern so that the ordering process of goods leads toa healthy stock situation
Phase in and outrange continuously during the year
Secure thatall products in your HFB are displayed according to themerchandising basics (clean, available on picking location, pricedand well maintained) during all opening hours
Ensure that the store is in shape as new andhas a strong commercial basics level in the Home furnishingbusiness (HFB) during all opening hours
Together with the Com & In team, you secure thatthe IKEA store provides a commercial range presentation in the homefurnishing business and that customers perceive IKEA as a competenthome furnishing specialist
Focus on Commercialawareness by using and implementing the Commercial Strategy lay outon the sales floor involving the commercial group
Achieve the customer satisfaction goals set bythe furniture Sales Manager for your area (measured by IKEA BrandCapital and CSI)
Ensure that Showroom area isproperly staffed with trained and qualified co workers during allopening hours
People Management andDevelopment
Manage the selection,training and development programs for new co-workers
Participate in the recruitment and selection of the salesco-workers when vacancies arise
Ensure workingmethods, basic action routines and range information are understoodand carried out in order to achieve objectives
Motivate the sales staff towards achievement of workobjectives. Support the team to achieve their objectives byensuring they understand the company business plan andobjectives.
Be Train the Trainer for thedepartment and ensure all the co-workers in the department aretrained in Product Knowledge, customer service training, Concepttraining, H&S trainings
Act as Payrolladministrator and be a super user for the Staff Management Systemand generate the schedules using the system.
Monitor attendance ofthe sales co-workers and monitor sickness and other absenceslevels.
Provide the Showroom Sales Managerwith feedback and their recommendations during the Probationaryperiod reviews and annually reviews for the staff in the customerservice department.
Coach, communicate andco-ordinate junior members in the team in order to ensure the bestpossible Customer Service to the customer.
