proven experience enabling customers to achieve Top Quartile performance .Due to an internal promotion we have a vacancy in our Abu Dhabi office for a Sales Manager for our Control Valve products.

The primary responsibility will be to take leadership role to develop, direct and manage all Control Valve sales activities for all kinds of business (greenfield, projects, aftermarket) in the UAE & Oman.

Your main focus will be to drive aftermarket solutions through channel partners with end users , skid suppliers and small EPCs based in the region.

You will need to work to ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning. You will Identify objectives, strategies and put together action plans to improve short & long terms sales plans.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Develop and support channel partners to drive sales solutions for products and services
  • Develop annual country sales plans to determine budgets, implement that plan, review & forecast
  • Meet or exceed territory financial objectives as required in support of the MEA business plan
  • Develop and implement sales and service strategies for assigned accounts in Abu Dhabi
  • Develop and implement plans to drive and grow the aftermarket business and maximize revenue and profit from the existing installed base
  • Analyze and develop plans to drive competitive displacement , Severe Service, and FIELDVUE solutions
  • Prepare and present marketing forecasts, pricing surveys, competitor intelligence and marketing plans
  • Work closely with other Final Control and Emerson Automation Solutions Business Units and maximize pull-through content
  • Take a pro-active role in working with the Global Project Pursuit Team and local sales team to identify, qualify and pursue valve projects to achieve order conversion and maximize the potential for Flow Controls Business Unit and all Emerson Automation Solutions products and services
  • Develop long-term relationships with key customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of Emerson
  • Proactively engage with customers to specify Emerson solutions and products in project FEED specifications
  • Improve customer satisfaction by finding customer pains and develop and implement the required solutions .
  • Ensure Emerson ethics and trade compliance procedures are strictly followed with all business transactions.
  • Maintain a project opportunity list in the associated tools like CRM
  • Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emerson's Company Policy and Procedures
  • To be considered for this role you will have proven technical sales experience within the process control industry, ideally with Control Valves .

    You will be tenacious and driven, and have the motivation to lead our channel partners to deliver on sales forecasts.

    Ideally you will be an Arabic speaker with existing relationships within key clients in the UAE and Oman.
