About the Job :

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Outlet Manager to join Food & Beverage Service department in Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role :

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the outlet including the selection, development and performance management of colleagues, optimizing profits and increasing sales.
  • Procedures are met and value is added to the F & B objectives as detailed in the F& B Department Performance Plan.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and respond to customer feedback and complaints ensuring JI & MJ procedures for CSI and Complaint Handling are followed.
  • Develop, maintain & actively use a database of customer details / history and other strategies that assist in guest recognition.
  • Advise the F&B management of any improvements needed in relation to restaurants operation including updates to SOPs or addition / deletion of SOPs.
  • Conduct performance evaluation of colleagues, training of colleagues, guidance, coaching and counselling of colleagues.
  • Ensure that colleagues are aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the department objectives detailed in the F&B Department Performance Plan.
  • About you :

    The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications :

  • Hotel School Degree or diploma or equivalent- Essential.
  • 2 years experience minimum in a similar role in a minimum 5
  • international pub’ environment.
  • Experience working in a large, multi cultural environment.
  • Knowledge and keen interest in major sports.
