WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR? Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown is seeking a Seasoned and Gregarious Senior Business Development Manager to support the sales strategy of this vibrant lifestyle hotel.

As Senior Business Development Manager, your forte is developing and implementing proven sales strategies, executing tactical sales initiatives and converting business opportunities into business relationships, to ensure overall revenue goals are met.

We are in search of an individual who is not afraid to challenge the norm, tackle challenges head on from different angles and who aspires to be part of a young, dynamic and eclectic team.

Your day to day

HERE IS SOME OF THE FINE PRINT Ideally, you'll have a bachelor's degree in marketing or related discipline, with a minimum of 4 years' experience within the sales field.

Ideally you will have worked in Downtown / Business Bay area within a recognized multi-national organization.

  • Evidence of personal and professional development experience in previous sales roles.
  • Relevant experience of leading and managing a team.
  • Evidence of having developed successful and creative sales strategies to drive business and customer loyalty.
  • What we need from you

    Assist the Director of Sales in the Management of the Sales Team especially in the absence of the Director of Sales and occasionally the Director of Marketing & Sales.

    Responsible for key account management on an assigned account. Ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets and increasing fair market share versus competitor set.

    Responsible for prospecting new accounts. Conduct site inspections in coordination with operational departments. Adhere to the Corporate SOP's.

    Detailed knowledge of competitor set. Detailed knowledge of all services provided by the Hotel and all relevant facts and figures of hotel.

    Responsible for timely contracting from the client base responsible for. SMART contracting to ensure optimum yielding during annual rate negotiations.

    Attend trade shows, sales blitz, workshops, etc. in the assigned markets. Assist the Director of Sales / Director of Marketing & Sales in defining an annual sales action plan and execute set actions accordingly.

    Assist the Director of Sales / Director of Marketing & Sales with the preparation of the annual budget by providing statistics and forecasts of accounts productions.
