Alshaya's Central Production Facility (CPF) in Kuwait currently employs more than 150 people and manufactures food products for brands such as Starbucks.
Now is an exciting time to join CPF as they embark on plan to improve, innovate and build additional revenue streams.
The Head Chef enhances and develops existing and future menu and product lines of Alshaya Food Division's various brands and external customer's base.
combine innovation, creative ideas and exceptional kitchen capabilities in developing products with commercial understanding of what will be profitable to the business and the customer / end customer.
Develop products in line with customer briefs
Innovate products based on market trends.
Ensure products developed are to cost targets
Ensure products developed are aligned to site CCP and Quality Control standards.
Ensure adherence to all company quality, safety, environmental & production procedures and policies
Ensure the use of W.I.'s procedures to give a consistent platform for carrying out operations.
Ensure the hygiene and quality standards of the NPD kitchen is always up to date with regards to the Alshaya policies and procedures
Experience for 4 years in food manufacturing, preferably in (FMCG)
Experience in Food Safety and quality and Food Hygiene
Experience in NPD product development.
Skills in Planning, Organizing & Decision-making and Communication skills
Strong leadership and people management skills.
