As the Marketing Assistant , you will act as a strategic partner within the EMEA marketing and communication group, focused in the delivery of the marketing and communications plan that supports GHD’s enterprise strategy and EMEA business plan.

Working across the EMEA marketing team you will deliver the EMEA internal and external communications strategy and plan.

Ensuring that the process is developed with a consistent focus on optimising our brand values and purpose.

This role can be based in either the UK or Middle East.

Specific responsibilities in this role will include :

  • Working with the marketing team and our Centre of Excellence (COE) across the globe to develop clear project briefs and work collaboratively with EMEA marketing team, Creative Services Studio, global COE marketing team members and agencies.
  • Respond to questions that arise during campaign implementation.

  • Support and ensure content is added to the EMEA content planning calendar, including all internal and external communication channels.
  • Ensure all communication adheres to project brief and brand standards.

  • Track and monitor data to help analyze the success of our campaigns and programs to optimize activities based on data-driven insights and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Support delivery of leading, effective, innovative, engaging and multi-channel internal and external communications programmes across EMEA.
  • Set agenda, support and diarize EMEA wide events and meetings. Raise POs, monitor and track EMEA marketing budget, with direction from Marketing & Communications leader and EMEA marketing team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders by responding to queries and providing updates per client requests.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests, projects, and other activities as required to support the company.
  • What you will bring to the team

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of marketing or business administration experience but not essential.
  • Experience of using InDesign, Acrobat or illustrator would be desirable.
  • Excellent command in English communication skills, both oral and written - an open communication style.
  • Enthusiastic and interested in a long term career in marketing and communications.
  • Creative thinker and implementer, always looking and coming forward with new ideas.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills with ability to schedule and manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Has experience of and a genuine interest in social media and digital channel.
  • Must work well in a team environment; possess high level of relationship, collaboration and facilitation skills with ability to work with multiple teams at various levels of the organization.
