We have recently been mandated by the leading provider of large-scale 3D printers for the construction sector with the appointment of a Regional Director to grow their business in the Middle East.

The company is h eadquartered in the USA and have already received significant interest from customers across the GCC in their proprietary technology that can print single-to-four story buildings sav ing time, reduc ing labo ur, raw material usage and costs compared to conventional construction techniques .

Role Summary

As part of the company’s global expansion plans we are looking to appoint an experienced Director to lead the business in the Middle East and Africa.

Prime focus during the start-up process will be upon the GCC with a longer timeline anticipated for scale up of operations in Africa.

The Regional Director will be the first member of staff based in the region and is the natural evolution to current Business Development activities which already consists of response to a number of RFP’s.

This role demands a self-starter with a clear talent for entrepreneurialism, creativity, and a proven ability to deliver high quality deliverables to tight deadlines.

The incumbent should work well in a dynamic, fast-changing global team but will also be experienced enough to act independently and execute plans for the region.

Application Criteria :

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree level in Business, Engineering or Construction Management coupled with significant experience working in the Middle East construction sector.

Track record of leading commercial negotiations, client relationship development and problem solving for products into the construction sector e.

g. heavy robotic machinery, concrete mix, turnkey construction solutions.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic evidenced by experience in presenting to C-suite stakeholders in both languages, and an ability to tailor the communication style to fit the audience.

Significant experience in presenting at Trade Shows, Conferences and Exhibitions

Accustomed to assuming ownership of processes and outcomes

Willingness to travel within the region
