Timely preparation of Management Accounts Pack, Forecasts and Budgets
Review and Control of Balance Sheet Accounts
Review and preparation of financial information for reporting
Managing company’s cashflow
Monitoring of working capital for the company including debtors & creditors analysis
Present commentary on variances against budget, forecast and other KPI’s
Attending monthly / quarterly meetings / reviews for financial discussions and target progress
Ensuring all costs incurred are appropriately allocated and recharged
Ensuring that effective controls are in place and that risk / opportunity is accurately reported
Review and monitor customer / supplier retentions
Audit and authorize payment runs and manual cheques
Participation in Audits, coordinating with Auditing bodies, etc.
Review information for Annual Statutory Reporting including Taxes, etc.
Managing man-hours and the costs of same and making sure all tax and welfare obligations are met
Identify and implement system and process improvements at all times
Coordination with all the banks, improvement of facilities, loans, any financial means to improve the financial support of the company
Identifying ways to operate more cost efficiently at all times
Create financial plans with clear targets, monitor them and report to management, discuss progress during monthly meetings.
Guide the assistant accountant to implement all of the above as per the procedure, use the assistant to carry out all normal tasks such as salaries, costs, sheets, etc.
to concentrate more on the financial budgeting, cost control and financial plan
Managing the company’s overall financial position and matching it to the firm’s financial targets
Keeping accurate tracks of all expenses, liabilities and projected costs
Tracking profitability by creating a budget for each part of a construction project
Working closely with the estimator and purchaser to ensure alignment on costs and expenditure
Having a deep knowledge of company law, regulatory and reporting requirements
Predicting future challenges and associated costs.
Qualifications :
Experience : 5-10 yearsyears (Preferred)
