Working closely with the Business Development Director, the Business Development Lead is responsible for ensuring that the Serco ME sales pipeline is maintained accurately, remains relevant and qualified.

The Business Development Lead will assist in the day-to-day management of the SalesForce pipeline, deliver training to new Business Development and support the BD Director and Executive Management Team in the production of SalesForce management reports as required.

Duties and Responsibilities :

oReviewing the SalesForce pipeline and qualifying opportunities to support the BD Director and Executive Management Team in their decision making.

oThe Candidate will be responsible for reviewing the pipeline and providing insights to support the Business Development Director, all Business Development leads

oEnsuring opportunity owners keep their opportunities up to date in a timely manner.

oSupporting the operational business in identifying Organic growth in the existing Serco accounts on SalesForce..

oIdentifying customer accounts where Organic growth should be expected in relation to wider service scope and customer profile.

oThe Business Development Lead is tasked with providing training and Serco Business Development Best Practise advice and guidance to team members as required.

oPreparing and distributing routine SalesForce reports

Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • Graduate level or Minimum of 3 Years Business Development experience
  • 2 Years Sales CRM experience
  • Miller Heiman Complex Selling experience or similar
  • SalesForce Administrator experience
  • Report creation in SalesForce
  • Knowledge and understanding of a Sales Governance process
