The role of the Sales and Web Analyst is to conduct product, category and site analysis across Samsung MENA markets with the key objective of driving online business growth.
We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Analyst who will play a vital role in the growth of the online business, managing all aspects of web analytics and will be responsible for using data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive online business decisions.
The Analyst must demonstrate the ability to take ambiguous business challenges and provide analytical solutions to help making informed, data driven decisions to drive growth across all digital properties (e-
commerce partners and owned online shop). In this role, you will work across CRM, digital marketing, technical and merchandising teams to identify key areas of opportunity to improve customer experience, user journey and overall digital conversion.
Role and Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities :
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics dashboards to ensure metric reporting consistency
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
Managing, consolidating, analyzing and understanding the sales trends in MENA region and tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers through dashboard visualizations
Help to convert this business information into business intelligence that will drive revenue for the online business
Identify, measure, and monitor key performance indicators, while making recommendations impacting sales performance
Monitoring sales and forecast data of each local office, identify issues (upload error, data accuracy, etc ) and escalate to management and global HQ in a timely manner to take appropriate action
Develop metrics & KPI frameworks, dashboards and measurement scorecards for user behavior & conversion data
Build recommendations based on the analysis and monitoring of the collected data and KPIs
Create scenarios to evaluate new business opportunities for an optimized sales funnel, new website functionalities and platform enhancements
Partner with the e-store manager to build a testing roadmap to promote stronger KPIs including traffic, engagement, conversion
Analyze user engagement and sales conversions focused on categories, product pages, and checkout pages and identify key drivers to recommend growth opportunities
Create reports and dashboards that provide correlations between web engagement and revenue, web engagement and marketing channels, etc.
Maintain weekly / monthly / quarterly and ad-hoc reports that measure performance of e-commerce KPIs
Work closely with digital marketing and CRM teams to identify areas of improvements in the customer journey, media spend, etc.
Skills and Qualifications
At least 3 years of relevant work experience as an E-commerce Analyst or in a similar position
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (e.g. ability to create macros and functions that can ease report creation) for report automation
Solid understanding of e-commerce site conversion optimization and UI / UX principles
Ability to handle multiple demands efficiently, while being extremely organized and maintaining high attention to detail
A self-starter and eager implementer who enjoys working both in groups and independently
Must possess interpersonal skills in order to build strong positive people relationships.
Must be able to take direction well and understand requirements, working within tight timelines
Possess an innovative, problem-solving, and solutions-oriented mindset
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, and manage change effectively
Comfortable interpreting sales and web traffic data and deriving actionable insights
