Scope Of Work :

Under the supervision of the Stewarding Supervisor is responsiblefor the cleanliness of the kitchen area through washing ofchinaware, flatware, pots and pans and polishing of silverwarefollowing the hygiene and cleaning standard procedures of thehotel.

JobResponsibilities :

1. Cleans kitchenwalls and floors in accordance with regular cleaningschedules.

2. Cleans shelving and surrounding areas andensures these are safe and dry at all times to preventslipping.

3. Cleans / Washes all cooking utensils perrequired standards and stacks washed utensils in the appropriateracks / trolleys for easier access.

4. Regularly inspectsand cleans stacking areas to keep these neat and tidy.

5. After each wash, polishes equipment (e.g., chafing dish, silvertrays, etc.), applying appropriate chemicals and procedures.

6. Refuse is securely bagged and recyclable materialscorrectly separated.

7. Issue equipment needed forset-up, per request or event order.

8. Stack allequipment issued on proper trolley or racks for easier access aswell as prevention of breakage.

9. Use chemicals anddetergents only in accordance with authorized use, to preventdamage, or risk to safety and health, Complies with all safetymeasures while using chemicals.

10. Ensure thatdishwashing and other machines used in stewarding are kept inworking condition by following appropriate procedures in the use ofsaid machines.

11. Demonstrates the 12-ServiceExcellence Basics.

12. Keeps updated with new productsin the market.

HRResponsibilities :

13. Attends all hoteltrainings as required.

14. Adheres to all HR and hotelpolicies and procedures.

15. Continually strives toimprove self; knowledge and skills.

FinancialResponsibilities :

16. Control on wastageof water, chemicals, electricity & general cleaningmaterials.

17. Actively participates in all breakagereduction programmes for all SOE's.

18.Actively participates in energy saving and recyclinginitiatives.

GeneralResponsibilites :

19. Attends allrequired briefings / meetings.

20. Ensure that theappropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform andappearance are maintained at all times.

21. Strictlyfollows the hotel FSMS Program, including the cleanliness of allrestaurants and bars, personal hygiene standards for all foodhandlers and monthly Hygiene Audits.

22. Actively participates in all EHSMSrequirements.

23. To carry out any additional tasks andprojects as requested by the Chief Steward.

24.Strictly adheres to the hotel's Policy on Confidentialityand Ethics.
