Whowe are looking for : Regional Senior VisualMerchandiser
Asa Senior Regional Visual Mechandiser you will be responsible fororganising and deploying high quality visual merchandisingstrategies across the region, as well as contributing withvalue adding ideas in all areas with a sharp focus on how theseideas can increase commerciality and storeperformance.
MainResponsibilties : Organization :
Followall relevant Visual Merchandising policies, processes and standardoperating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlledand consistentmanner.
Escalatecomplex problems to the relevant person to ensure case / issue isclosed efficiently and in timely amanner.
Contribute value adding ideasin all areas with a sharp focus on how these ideas can increasecommerciality and store performance
Createconcepts, design strategies, merchandising directions andguidelines to express creative vision
Use Creative watch , EDGE and other data sources to apply and adoptbest practice learning to the region, market or storeenvironment
Support and contribute to creativewatch by providing own examples and inspirations from the externalworld
Consolidate reports frommarket or stores and compile commercial analysis of VM activityundertaken
Review reports compiling actionpoints for market or stores to complete before sending completereport to regional VM teams
Establish a closeworking relationship with market team and give them actionablefeedback about VM activity
Provide examples anddata to help explain the VM requirementsobjectively
Improve quality and standards of VMactivities and proactively review otherproviders
Create and cultivate strongrelationships with local stakeholders andsuppliers
Champion housekeeping inregion / market
Utilize available datasources - Commercial, Retail, Brand and communication proactivelyto draw on existing knowledge, use them to identify patterns inconsumer behavior and recommend actions to drive thebusiness
Identify knowledge gaps and proposeaction to fill them
Transform consumer andshopper insight into VM activity that achieves long-termcompetitive advantage and commercial gain for the brand, categoryor store
Track wider consumer, shopper andVisual Merchandising trends and is able to anticipate potentialfuture trends resulting fromthem
Generate enthusiasm forthe brands product display vision in thebusiness
Conduct meetings with Buying teams,store managers, stylists, floor managers and Product presentationteams to ensure meetings are held in line with the specifiedcalendar
Produce clear concise reporting to allVisual Merchandising stakeholders to ensure all have data to helppromote business growth
Provide VisualMerchandising guidelines to Product presentation and store team,monitor implementation and identify new ways of working whenstandards are not met
Work with store staff andproduct presentation team to generate enthusiasm and passion forthe brand product display principles and excellence inimplementation
Adopt merchandising in line withthe specificity of each store and in line with merchandise team andBrand image
Manage the budgets received (% ofsales) and ensureadherence
Inspire Design team to createVisual Merchandising Display concepts from a brief encapsulatingcommercial, retail, brand and communicationobjectives
Devise concepts that form a 360 display concept for a brand and / or store
Useexpert knowledge to recommend when design trends / VM concepts canlead the way or play a supporting role in achieving the brandsobjectives
Validate mood and material boardsand approve materials fromproviders
Define and manage a clearinstallation calendar, when dates are not met identify action to betaken in future
Ensure the cost effectivenessof providers and suppliers pricing both locally andregionally
Participate in relevant projects andcommunity activities as and whenneeded
Whatyou will need to succeed in thisrole :
UniversityDegree in Business Administration, Marketing or any relatedfield
A minimum of 5 years of relevantexperience with at least 3 years in a similarrole
Proven experience in within a fast paceenviroment
Strong ability to work with teamslocated across a wide network
Understanding oflatest trends in Visual Merchandising, ideally within a LuxuryBeauty concept
