Our client is now recruiting for a Manager (Concessions, Retail, and Licensees, Partners). You will be directly reporting to the Senior Manager (Concessions, Retail, and Licensees, Partners) Contract Duration : 11 months Job Purpose The Account Manager will be responsible for the management of the Expo 2020 Commercial partners (including but not limited to licensees, partners, retailers and General Concessions, and subsequently referred to as Commercial partners’) appointed to deliver services to Expo 2020.
The position will be responsible for the following :
In collaboration with various internal departments, ensure execution, change management and successful and timely closure of various Commercial Partner Agreements
Facilitate delivery of contractual obligations by the Commercial Partner, while ensuring compliance to contractual requirements and agreed KPIs, and Expo’s Policies, Procedures and guidelines
Revenue Management activities and requirements, in coordination with the Commercial and Financial Support Office, and the Finance team
Commercial team’s interface with the respective Zonal Operations Center (ZOC)
Issue resolution and management of any challenges faced in the delivery of Commercial Partner contractual obligations
Coordination with internal Expo Departments to facilitate service delivery and delivery of Expo Committed Rights and Benefits
As applicable, manage the appointment of new commercial partners for services that have been identified and approved at services required by Expo 2020 with the Procurement and Contracts Department.
Core Accountabilities Strategic Responsibilities
Contract and Relationship Management of specific Commercial Accounts, to facilitate and enable delivery in accordance with Contractual Commitments and in line with Expo Policies, Procedures, Guidelines and other requirements
Management of internal Expo stakeholders to ensure that services and rights and benefits are provided to Commercial Partners in line with Expo Commitments
Revenue Assurance and Management of all accounts allocated to the Senior Account Manager, and to any Account Managers Reporting into the Senior Account Manager
Consolidate and share relevant information pertaining to Commercial on-site operations with the relevant Operational teams
Work with cross-functional departments, End Users such as Brand Management, Marketing and Communications, Programming, Partner Marketing, Sustainability, Worker Welfare and Real Estate, Delivery / PPD, Operations, etc.
to ensure that Expo’s obligations and / or the rights and benefits of the partners are delivered, the agreed promotional activities are conducted successfully, as well as ensure that the Commercial Partner adheres to the contractual requirements and acceptable service levels.
Account management of the allocated Commercial Partners, including but not limited to coordination of regular meetings, tracking against agreed timelines and achieving key milestones, preparation and distribution relevant correspondence, preparation of presentations and follow-up;
Preparation and consolidation of reporting requirements for Commercial Partners, where applicable include tracking against targets and KPIs, such as sales, footfalls, etc.
Review the change requests and update the agreements of the commercial partners in compliance to the change management procedures / practices
Coordinate and collaborate with the various Expo entities and its internal departments to ensure all Commercial arrangements are delivered successfully
Capture and share visitor feedback with commercial partner(s), and finalize any changes required for enhancing the visitor experience / facilities
Ensure that the all commercial partners (Concessions, Retail, licensee, and others) are compliant with Partnership guidelines and do not make any modifications to their operation that would ambush an Expo 2020 Official Premier Partner, an Official Partner and Provider.
If needed, finalize the mitigation / corrective measures to protect partners against ambush marketing efforts (in coordination with Legal and Marketing)
Weekly Inspections and need-based on-ground representation of commercial team for channeling to the tenants / operations team the site-level concerns and / or issue resolution / escalation
Ongoing tracking of issues / complaints for ensuring timely resolution
Ensure direction, integrity and quality of the Dubai 2020 brand, product offering, retail environments and marketing strategy People Responsibilities
Staff planning to include recruitment, training and management of internal staff to support the commercial programs (Concessions, Retail, and Licensees)
