Job Role : Finance Business Partner
Overview / Responsibilities
We are currenty recuritig for a Finance Business Partner based in Abu Dhabi Office for a perment role.
Business partnering support to the business as an integral part of the respective business unit management teams providing finance and decision making support through building relationships with the finance team and promoting closer links with Operations.
The focus is being a trusted business partner and custodian of the management accounting numbers for the business Operations worldwide service lines.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Produce a Consolidated Monthly Financial report pack which provides robust commentary to all variances across the business.
Support the business by producing a variety of reports and analysis. Such reporting will include, Project report and Gross Margin Analysis, detailed backlog analysis, billability analysis and bridges direct and indirect project reports, capacity graphs and other KPI'
s that may develop over time.
Responsible for the preparation and consolidation of all budgeting and forecasting for the Business. This will involve working across the service lines and supporting Service Line Leads, often translating their business strategies into financial terms.
Contribute to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
Support the client bid process, providing costing information and input into sales pricing.
Further input on financial terms obtaining input from commercial and contracts where appropriate.
Work with Operations identifying trigger points where tax input is needed and work with our colleagues in tax to find the most compliant and cost effective solution.
Identify profit generating initiatives and opportunities that improve financial outcomes.
Ensure all external filings and deadlines are met.
Further ensure all compliance related payments are made within the payment deadlines so as to avoid filing penalties.
Ensure accounting systems are updated / compliant with external reporting requirements or find off system solutions to ensure compliance with Local GAAP.
Ensure FRSA / QSC documents are completed timely, aiming for zero defects each quarter
Service line Managers including VP's, BU F&A VP's , Group Finance, peers and direct reports
Auditors, Banks, Tax, Insurance
Influencing the business to achieve KPI's and making improvements on day to day at business partner level.
Skills / Qualifications
3-5 years relevant accounting experience
Good commercial knowledge
Good systems experience - preferably an ERP system, Oracle preferred
Proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint
Safety & Assurance - Safety aware and promote within the team.
Relationships - Ability to form and maintain strong working relationships with function heads and finance community.
People - Ability to communicate effectively to both Finance and non-finance personnel.
