What will I be doing?
As Cluster Sales ManagerLeisure, you will analyse market trends and competitor activity torecommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in themarketplace through the development of future and repeat business.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the followingtasks to the highest standards :
Analysis markettrends and competitor activity to identify businessleads
Develop customer accounts and travelwithin the Market area to drive business into the specifichotel / cluster and to increase market / customer share in all revenuestreams
Negotiate room rates / packages withtour operator and DMC's
Develop andimplement creative marketing channels, including social mediachannels
Prepare company contracts for thehotel in accordance with current business and pricingconditions
Work within current businessstrategies and recognising potential opportunities
Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to createan exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensivesales programs
Attend Sales events, asrequired
Produce accurate and timely reportsthat meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management toinclude the reporting of appointments, calls made and businessleads
Answer customer queries in a prompt andprofessional manner
Manage staff performancein compliance with company policies and procedures
Recruit, manage, train and develop the Salesteam
