ROLE DETAILS

Functional title : Project Manager

Group : Customer Experience and Digital

Department : Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence

Sub-department : Data Governance & Data Quality

GROUP FUNCTION AND ROLE PURPOSE

The job holder is responsible for supporting the Project team in implementation of the Data Governance program, and specifically those relating to the implementation of the Data Governance tool set in FAB, as part of the Data Governance Office.

They are accountable for maintaining direction and ensuring alignment with business objectives with regards to how the Data Governance Tool Set implementation program.

Data Governance Tool Set will implement three solution for FAB :

  • Data Governance Tool
  • Data Quality Tool
  • Metadata Management
  • Key Accountabilities :

  • Coordination with various stakeholders across Business and IT teams
  • Facilitate impact assessments on upstream and downstream systems
  • Manage the overall implementations of the project by implementing SDLC best practices followed in FAB
  • Coordinate design / development / build / deployment and early life support
  • Report out to the business stakeholders on progress of various work streams
  • Any other coordination required to successfully implement the project per defined timeline
  • Implement relevant controls and compliance metrics to reduce issues in the project implementation
  • COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS :

    Internal :

  • The role requires establishing strong working relationship with all business groups and support functions of the organization at various levels to ensure the timely completeness of the Data Governance tool set implementation in FAB
  • External :

  • The role requires regular interactions with vendors, data partners, consulting partners, and regulatory and governmental bodies to ensure the timely completeness of the Data Governance tool set implementation in FAB.
  • KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS) :

  • Project Delivery against planned time and schedule
  • Tracking of project RAID and CR Log
  • Feedback from peers, management and key stakeholders
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE :

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Degree educated with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience, 10+ years overall industry experience
  • Minimum Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in handling enterprise wide programs
  • Experience of contributing to data related projects would be beneficial
  • Strong Project Management skills; direct experience of managing Data Governance frameworks is preferable
  • Excellent track record of delivering Vendor managed projects on strict timelines
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes :

  • Understanding of end-to-end data life cycle requirement of key business process.
  • Knowledge of data quality, data conversion tools, best practices and tools / technologies is an added advantage
  • Held leadership roles in full life-cycle projects.
  • Understanding of Business Process Management and related technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with Business Users, other IT groups and team members is required
  • Experience in managing scope and estimate delivery schedules for projects
  • Completing the Implementation Team project weekly project status report.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for project issues and risks
  • Work jointly to finalize a plan, including resources and dependencies with Vendor Project Manager
  • Mange project RAID and Change Request Log
  • Prepare and submit to SteerCo written reports including without limitation weekly reports, detailing progress of performance of the Services highlighting any actual or anticipated problems or difficulties relating to the same
  • Leading the preparation and delivery of the Implementation Team elements of the project steering committee.
  • Prepare project update content to be used for SteerCo pack.

  • A reliable and trustworthy person, able to anticipate and deal with the varying needs and concerns of numerous stakeholders adapting personal style accordingly.
  • Adaptable and knowledgeable who is able to discuss a variety of data management situations with IT, Steer co, Vendor and business stakeholders.
