Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations including foods, beverages, kitchen equipment’s, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction.

The ability to maintain a "sense of urgency " attitude for the completion of responsibilities / tasks Dedication and willingness to go above and beyond in a hospitality driven environment.

Interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction. Ability to communicate in English & Arabic, both orally and in writing, with guests and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and to collect accurate information and to resolve problems.

Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system Perform all necessary tasks to service F&B according to the Standard Operating Policies and Procedures (SOPP).

Implement new updates and make amendments to the SOPP when needed. Ensure adequate and continuous training to all service staff.

Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments. Make sure employees perform their daily tasks, from the preparation of the work stations, stocking supplies, serving, cleaning tables and counters, resetting tables, greeting customers and answering questions.

Have the highest level of competence and understanding in regards to product knowledge and operations. Ensure that restaurant complies with sanitation and safety standards for guests and employees, and all equipment are in a good working order.

Visually inspect and take corrective action to ensure that facilities in restaurant look appealing and attractive to guests.

Provide guidance for improvement and implement necessary adjustments. Oversee work orders to ensure repairs and maintenance of all facilities is completed in a recommended time frame.

Effectively manage the restaurant with an ownership mentality within the policies and guidelines of the company, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times.

Train, supervise, develop, discipline, counsel, and evaluate the Supervisor’s and line employees according to the SOPP and the company’s policies and procedures.

Investigates and resolves guest complaints in a timely manner, always finding a solution. Recommend new marketing and / or operational policies and procedures which keep up with the demands in industry practice and changes in the market.

Ensure that there is always good quality food served to customers and be the link between the Kitchen and the service area.

Participate in marketing efforts of restaurant, create menu ideas, survey competition and reports food trends, and assists in preparation of specials.

Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety. Direct and organise the implementation of new incentive programs.
