Title : Senior Metallurgy and Corrosion Engineer Primary objective To carry out corrosion risk and material selection studies for multiple projects.
Specific Accountabilities Selection, review of materials for Offshore Oil and Gas facilities. Assesment of Service life Corrosion (SLC), Life Cycle Cost analysis (LCC) for offshore / Oil and Gas projects.
Design and review of Cathodic Protection (CP) systems and Corrosion Monitoring (CM) facilities for Offshore / Oil and Gas projects.
Corrosion Management / Integrity assessment of Offshore / Oil and Gas projects. Review of Intelligent Pigging (IP) and engineering assessment of identified pipeline defects.
Selection and performance evaluation of corrosion inhibitors for oil and gas applications. Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BU, etc Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the BU, etc.
Understand and follow OH&S procedures. Essential Skills / Experience Minimum 15 yrs of relevant experience in materials selection, corrosion management & integrity assessments in major oil and gas projects.
Experience in use of International Corrosion Modelling software packages. Good knowledge and experience with the international codes and standards.
Project Experience Requirement Greenfield Project + Brownfield modifications Offshore Well Head platform Project experience Offshore sour gas projects (Big added advantage) At least handled or worked in projects above 500 Millions USD ((Big added advantage) Onshore Project experience as well.
PMC experience / Handling PMC project and exposure.
