Job Summary

We’re looking for a strong Fleet Partner compliance officer to drive Talabat’s compliance and regulations department. They will advise and assist Talabat’s vendors on government regulations, audit requests, security clearance, background check policies, and required training completion.

This position is responsible for working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure Talabat and it’s vendors adhere to agreed upon government compliance requirements.

  • Responsibilities and Duties

    Partner with HR, Legal team, Supply on-boarding and Operation leaders to manage and maintain regulatory compliance requirements across cities

    Create and maintain a tracking system and business process for handling all government compliance requirements

    Ensure appropriate documentation, interpretation, and communication to leaders regarding the implementation of various compliance plans

    Provide recommendations for policy updates and guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure vendor contracts align to compliance standards

    Identify key contract terms to standardize and update across contracts

    Support vendor selection, onboarding, and vendor alignment to Talabat culture

    Responsible for Vendor (3PL) on-boarding process and adherence to ongoing government compliance regulations. Renewal and renegotiating contracts

    Ensure every Rider working for Talabat meets all requirements and has necessary documentation as per country guidelines

    Manage end-to-end off-boarding process for a Rider and Vendor

    Work closely with Governmental Authorities i.e. RTA, etc to coordinate regarding updates in policies, trainings

    To assist in identifying compliance risks and in implementing plans to monitor and address risks related to vendors

    What did we order?

    Prior experience on government regulations & compliance is preferred

    Excellent crisis management skills

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills. English and Arabic is a must, Hindi / Urdu is a plus

    Arabic speaking candidate with a regional experience is preferred

    At least 3-4 years work experience in a similar role with a tech company

    Extensive knowledge of recent government rules & compliance regulations

    Good contacts with govt officials across all the Emirates

    Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience : 3 - 4 years in Team Lead Logistics Operations( Required )
  • Graduation : Bachelor's Degree( Required )
  • Proficient in English( Required ) , Hindi( Required ) , Urdu( Required ) , Arabic( Required )
