We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Regional Demand Manager to form part of the Regional Demand Management team. The Regional Demand Manager builds the bridge between market demand plans and Hub supply plans to ensure end-to-end supply chain visibility and excellent service level to customers.
The Regional Demand Manager ensures Commercial Dynamic Translation from commercial to manufacturing, to govern an accurate, timely, and unconstrained consensus demand plan that represents true customer demand.
This position has a primary work location, Dubai , but work locations, Amsterdam and Madrid are optional.
Core elements enabling success in the role include :
Driving the monthly Integrated Business Planning process (IBP) to achieve a 36-month consensus plan
Reviewing and challenging 36-month demand plans by exception and follow up with markets
Providing input to the IBP, including risk & opportunities identification and limiting planning variability which in consequence reduces inventory risks
Managing events in the 4-36 months’ timeframe
Owning assigned franchise and conduct aggregate demand reviews and bridge gap between commercial initiatives and demand changes
Driving the dialogue each month for assigned markets and products with Market Demand Planners, Hub Supply Network Planners, Regional Finance Leads, Global / Regional Commercial Leads and other stakeholders to meet service level objectives with optimum inventory policy
Identify gaps between financial plans and demand plans and resolve where needed
Ensuring integrity of metrics to drive value to customer
Consolidated Product Trends (volume development), Changes in Demand
Monitoring of targets for Forecast Error (Lag 2 bias; R3M error, service level)
Maintenance of Business Value Segmentation and other parameters
Supporting the demand aspect for product launches, new product introduction / deletion governance with responsible Local Markets Contribute to and lead demand management process improvement projects, at market and regional level
Working with markets to finalize product segmentation and service level agreement implementation in sponsor of strategic initiatives
Boosting the development of key market revenue opportunities
Assisting in input gathering with markets for Profit Planning purposes
Contribute to CoP
Steward adherence to global operating model 4.0
Level 1 forecast process & technical support for market demand planners
Enabling process & system enhancements
Education & Qualifications :
Bachelor of Science preferably Supply Chain or related discipline
APICS CPIM or CSCP and / or Six Sigma certification is an advantage
Minimum 3 solid years of expertise, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment
Strong knowledge of all aspects of Supply Chain Management
Demonstrated expertise and proficiency with Demand Planning and / or Demand Management processes
Highly organized profile with customer focus, proactive and problem-solving mindset
Strong English (both written and verbal)
Awareness of business and industry dynamics and regulation
Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities including long and short-term projects
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively speak with senior management
Capable of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
SAP, Rapid Response, Qliksense, and Microsoft Office expertise (with strong Excel skills) are preferred
Expertise in at least one additional Supply Chain Management function is desired (e.g. Supply Planning, Fulfilment, Customer Service)
Able to take ownership of the assigned franchise
Strong interactive leadership skills to convey and fluence
Team player that is also capable of working independently and dealing with pressure
Ability to think End-to-End when investigating problems and resolving process conflicts
Flexibility and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
