Description :

To execute operational activities related to Boehringer Ingelheim’s (BI’s) Medical department with the objective of providing adequate support to the Medical Director, being responsible of all internal department meetings and the record retention officer for the medical department as well as the IDEA (SUB / GEN) champion.

Extended responsibility on the update and creation of any local medical SOPs and WIs as well as giving all needed training in the onboarding process.

Responsibilities :

To assist in the execution of all medical activities related to BI Medical Affairs department.

Overseeing the medical budget allocated within each product to ensure each activity planned under medical affairs umbrella is executed to excellence within allocated budget

To maintain record of all medical approvals, expenses, paid honoraria within the medical department in the assigned OPU.

Collect feedback, reports and summary of all medical affairs activities conducted on monthly basis

Ensure adequate archiving of all documentations related to the Medical Affairs Department in the assigned OPU

Ensure adherence to compliance and all SOPs upon execution of medical affairs activities

Assist and coordinate all medical director meetings, internal and external department activities

Support E-Platforms across Therapeutic Areas and innovative programs

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry and / or related fields

Earlier business background (Sales / Marketing) will be a plus

1 2 years of experience in Pharmaceutical company

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Advanced presentation and computer skills with expertise in literature identification and evaluation

Intellectual curiosity about the field of science / medicine for which they are responsible

Ability to work effectively and share information within a team environment

Excellent self-management skills and ability to adapt services provided based on customer needs

Good understanding of business and commercial environment

Good knowledge of clinical research processes and good clinical practice (GCP)
