The Kitchen Department manages all aspectsof the food production including hygiene and safety It also ensures thatguests are provided with an excellent and bespoke culinary experience Job responsibilitieswill include but not limited to the following Knowledgeof all standard procedures and policiespertaining to food preparation receiving storage and sanitation Fullawareness of all menu items their recipes methods of production andpresentation standards Assessquality control and adhere to service standards Supportthe control of food cost Carry outclose liaison with all section of the kitchen in order to ensure smooth andefficient service Abilityto produce own work in accordance with a deadline and to assist and encourageothers in achieving this aim Seek ownsolutions to obstacles that occur from time to time Toproject a pleasant and positive professional image to all contacts at all times Dailydata collection and reporting of issues as they arise Supportof Departmental objectives Diligencein prevention of wastage Must beable to speak read write and understand the primary language used in theworkplace Must beable to read and write to facilitate the communication process Requiresgood communication skills both verbal and written Thoroughknowledge of food products standard recipes and proper preparation Abilityto create recipes and support material i e recipe cards descriptions andpictures and to read and visualize same To move into this position youshould have The selected candidate should be ableto join on 15 th September 2019 Tenure incurrent position minimum one year Minimum 2years of relevant experience in 5 hotel Cold Kitchen Sections Excellentculinary catering talent Goodknowledge and understanding of the kitchen and its operations Must haveworked within a busy operation environment with a large brigade of chefs withmulti-

culture environment Goodinteraction skills with guest Possessgood communication skills be enthusiastic and organized Certificateof Achievement with new style modern buffet HACCP Food Hygiene Training certification Keyrequirements Innovated excellent multi cuisine menu planning computerskills Teamworker with a great attitude to work under pressure
