Assistant Sales Manager Consumer
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to lead the Sales Team to deliver a profitable and sustainable business in Emerging Markets by delivering Fonterra GM, Volume and Market Share.
Key responsibilities would include :
Lead the development and deployment of the Route to Market (RTM) Strategy in Emerging Markets which delivers cost effective and efficient business
Establish Joint Business Planning (JBP) with distributors to review against set score card for all channels in Emerging Markets through conducting regular business
Monitor business profitability over time against agreed objectives with distributor, and devise remedial action where necessary to ensure annual volume and value targets are met
Develop a culture that leverages global best in class thinking on Revenue Growth Management (RGM) for Price Pack Architecture (PPA) and Promotion Effectiveness
Generate insights, performance, operations, strategies / plans for competitors, customers and channels through effective business partnering with distributors.
Ensure distributors / sales partners comply to Fonterra FSQ standard and ownership for market and customer plans & Support in Achieving Class A Certification
Collaborate with Marketing to ensure all launch activities required to meet brand, channel and customer objectives are executed through effective distributor management.
Market expansion for our products
Prepare effective and accurate Forecast / value chain
Planning and ensuring the targeted distribution expansion to increase the sales with various SKUs
Plan and Execute promotional Plan to create awareness and demand thereby increase market share
Align and Prepare Purchasing orders and Performa invoices with all respective customers
You would possess the following :
Business Management Degree from reputable academic institute
At least 4-5 years of managerial experience in FMCG industry
Excellent partnership management skills
Strong Sales Profile - with affinity for marketing & communication
Knowledge of Emerging Markets
Trading and Commercial experience
Experience in RTM / RGM Management, Building Scorecards, Promotion Planning along with a knowledge and understanding of P / L.
Excellence in execution
