Commercial Planning and Pricing Manager

We are looking for a Pricing Manager to manage a group of services for our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of services to maximize consumer appeal and will be in charge of pricing strategy and operationalizing pricing systems from the ground up from initial analysis of supplier offerings and internal products / services to creating and implementing pricing changes and related resources to building out reporting and audit processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, complex financial and analytic models to forecast and analyze revenue performance, marketing efficiencies, and pricing optimization
  • Work in close collaboration with colleagues from Sales, Finance, and Partnerships and develop processes to support efficiency and reduce friction around pricing updates and changes, as well as increase transparency and visibility of our pricing and how it compares to our overall strategy and objectives.
  • Assist in the production of detailed budgets and forecasts, including projections of P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets
  • Manage the receipt of pricing information from CEQUENS supplier inputs and perform in-depth modeling and analysis to generate standard outputs and estimates.
  • Develop clear and effective procedures for performing associated changes, including related documentation and change management tasks.
  • Develop procedures for comparing pricing performance to internal strategies and contracts, and provide data-driven suggestions for margin stability and expansion.
  • Manage the process for handling requests for special pricing, including escalation and feedback loops with relevant departments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Partnerships, Marketing, Legal, and Revenue to ensure that pertinent pricing resources, feedback, and analysis are effectively shared and that project objectives and impacts are delivered.
  • Analyze price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
  • Assist in creating promotional campaigns
  • Tracking market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors
  • Requirements

  • You have a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, including solid exposure to managing pricing processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating pricing process documentation.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills comfortable dealing with numerical data and have strong attention to detail.
