As part of Emerson Automation Solutions, sitting within the Perfect Execution team, the Operational Excellence Director will drive the Customer Care / Sales Operations strategy in the MEA region, developing best practices in Operational Excellence, supporting and co-

leading systems development and implementation projects across MEA. You will also lead the "Sales Office of the Future" (SOOF) strategy and local business system integration.

The scope will include all Automation Solutions Business Units and World Area teams to facilitate and drive Perfect Execution Mile Wide and Mile Deep projects that supports the overall MEA goal for optimising Sales Efficiencies, Sales Operations Performance by delivering improved customer loyalty through faster lead-

times, cycle times and service levels. Your responsibilities will be to :

  • Develop & Lead the implementation of the SOOF Strategy and Processes
  • Lead the MEA 1-1-X Speed initiative & support the MEA leadership to deploy the MEA SOOF
  • Drive OEM Key Account Operational Excellence to support sales growth
  • Develop MEA Contact Center Strategy
  • Facilitate operational best practices including Lean process / tools, variability reduction, root cause / corrective action, S&OP and tools specially focused on the Quote to Cash process
  • Facilitate Perfect Execution Mile Deep projects and Mile Wide process development in the various business units and world areas sharing best practices including PMO and Life Cycle Services as well as supporting LBP and Key Accounts
  • Develop Perfect Execution supporting material, training, facilitation and metrics
  • Be accountable for the Automation Solutions Group MEA OPEX Review and Key performance Indicators :
  • Review : KPI’s, Key Initiative Status review, Productivity / Utilization and Orders / Project Pursuit
  • KPI Sales and Operations : Orders, Lead conversion, CRM Dashboard; RDSL, Quote conversion %, Cycle times, Conttact Center Dashboard and Digital Dashboard
  • Drive CRM / PRM and Oracle implementation projects and roll out across Local Business Partners Drive the MEA CRM Steering committee and establish POR reporting
  • Support the Development & Deployment Global Strategies and Gold standards as the MEA representative of the Global Customer Experience
  • Lead XBU Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Develop succession planning, career growth plans and faces to watch to support MEA Operational Excellence strategies and lead the MEA CRM team
  • Lead the Customer Experience Champions across the BU’s and World Area on initiatives associated with improving the customer experience.
  • Develop the Moments of Truth training deployment program
  • Leading the Harris Survey annually and Customer Value Assessments when required
  • Data Preparation
  • Follow up programme for closing out customer issues
  • To be considered for this role you will come from a Lean office culture, be inherently focused on Business Excellence and have the tenacity and resilience to incept, sell and execute change management initiatives across a diverse employee population.

    You will be process driven, analytical and organizationally savvy - able to navigate and manage the idiosyncrasies of a complex matrix structured organization.

    You will be degree qualified, preferably with an MBA, and ideally have exposure to digital transformation projects.

    This is a high profile, high impact role with global exposure, but it won't be easy. Dealing with strong business units used to operating independently without a mandate for adopting Perfect Execution strategies will be a challenge, requiring strength of character, first-

    class communication skills, and diplomacy.
