The role of the Corporate Communications function is provide quality corporate communications services including Brand Management, Marketing and Media.
The role of the Events Manager is to assist the Senior Manager all aspects of planning and execution of Events & sponsorships of ADGM, to include attendance at events and the administrative support of ADGM’s plan as defined in the Corporate Communication Strategy and directed by The Abu Dhabi Global Market and to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communications and relations program.
Manage departmental administrative systems including contract, images and event information and communications systems.
Contacting vendors & suppliers, obtaining quotes and issuing purchase orders and maintaining records
Deliver, set up, take down and maintain event equipment
Stage manage events on site, including staff liaison, public announcements and event health and safety issues.
Work as part of an event project team nationally & internationally some will involve working out of office hours, weekend and public holidays.
Prepare even programmes and timetables including researching, content and creative writing.
Assist events and sponsorships manager in the delivery of events, the event strategy.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety policies, frameworks and developing safety plans for events which are held on ADGM’s premises.
Contributing to the delivery or PR & Marketing materials.
Carry our any other duties and tasks as may reasonably be required by the Events Manager .
